YT Saver is a free online tool, published at ytsaver.org, for saving YouTube thumbnails and building share links and embed code. It runs in your browser and needs no account.
What the tool does
- Shows a video's thumbnail in five sizes and saves it as JPG or WebP.
- Builds short links and links that start at a chosen time.
- Produces embed code with privacy-enhanced mode.
- Finds the video ID in any kind of YouTube link.
What it does not do
YT Saver does not download videos or audio. We keep the tool to what YouTube makes openly available, which is the thumbnail image and the link.
Independence
YT Saver is an independent website. It is not affiliated with YouTube or Google, or with any other product or app that has a similar name.
How we keep things accurate
Our guides are checked against YouTube's own help pages and updated when things change. If you spot something out of date, please tell us through the contact page.
Respect for creators
Thumbnails belong to the people who made them. We ask everyone who uses YT Saver to save images from their own videos, or with the owner's permission.
