This policy explains how YT Saver at ytsaver.org ("we", "this site") handles information when you visit.
The tool
The YT Saver tool runs entirely in your browser. The link or video ID you paste is processed on your own device and is not sent to our server. We do not keep a history of what you look up.
Images from YouTube
Thumbnails are loaded directly from YouTube's public image server. When your browser requests those images, that server receives the usual technical details of the request, such as your IP address, in the same way as when you visit YouTube. Google's privacy policy covers that processing.
Information we collect
You can use this site without an account. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data for each page request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand which pages are useful.
Cookies
The site itself does not need cookies to work. If we use analytics or advertising services, those services may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure visits or show adverts. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list.
Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run the site, or when the law requires it.
